GENERAL INFORMATION
Coshocton Hospital has a proud history of over 105 years of service to the families of Coshocton County and its neighboring communities. The hospital has grown into a 56-bed acute care facility with a 7-bed intensive care unit (ICU), general and orthopaedic surgical center, outpatient oncology services and 24-hour emergency care. The hospital’s network of dedicated providers, nurses and support staff are committed to providing high quality, compassionate care to the people of Coshocton County and its surrounding communities.

The hospital services include:
• Advanced diagnostic services including radiology services (digital x-rays, MRI, 64-slice CT scan, digital mammography, and nuclear studies), on-site laboratory, endoscopy and cardiac diagnostic services
• Hospital-based physician clinics, family practice and specialty physicians providing surgical, orthopaedic, women’s care, oncology, internal medicine, ENT, pain management and cardiology services
• Emergency services staffed by emergency-trained and certified physicians and nurses prepared to respond to each health crisis with compassion, efficiency and skill
• Outpatient oncology and hematology services that provide comprehensive local disease management with a personal touch
• Outstanding rehabilitation services including physical and occupational therapy and cardiac rehab as well as speech therapy and audiology services

In 2015, Coshocton Hospital continued an aggressive growth strategy that included the enhancement of specific service lines needed to meet the needs of its local communities. The hospital had success in the recruitment of two general surgeons, one gynecologist and a family practice physician to increase local access to healthcare in those essential areas. This same focus on access to quality healthcare continues in 2016 as the hospital seeks to grow cardiology services, medical oncology and orthopedic medicine in the months ahead.

Coshocton Hospital’s community education programs provide information of timely medical interest, as well as sponsoring support groups for people affected by diseases such as diabetes and cancer. The hospital’s expanded dietary services now include fulltime registered dietitians who provide an outstanding resource for people faced with the challenges of daily diabetes management.

Coshocton Hospital is approved by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and has earned accreditation by the Joint Commission for demonstrating compliance with their national standards for health care quality and safety in hospitals. Coshocton Hospital is also a member of the American Hospital Association and the Ohio Hospital Association.
