They offer on average 142 daily nonstop departures and serve more than 40 destinations. The airport has two parallel runways at 10,000 and 9,000 feet as well as one 6,000-foot crosswind runway.

The Burke Lakefront Airport is owned and operated by the City of Cleveland Department of Port Control and is located in downtown Cleveland. It offers a 660-space parking lot for $6 per day and also offers a taxi service. The Federal Aviation Administration also operates an Air Traffic Control Tower 24 hours a day at BLA from Mondays at 7 a.m. until Fridays at 11 p.m.

They mainly handle air cargo and Foreign-Trade Zone operations and are one of the top ports of entry in the United State for textiles. Major markets, such as Chicago or New York can be reached overnight. A 350-space lot is available to passengers as are taxis and shuttle service.
